A unique ventilation system

All Smart Technology refrigerators and freezers are manufactured with a ventilation system that maintains a correct and uniform temperature from top to bottom. Cold air is ventilated behind an air deflector plate, which is placed at the back or on the right side of the appliance, depending on the model type.

The air then returns to the fan located at the top of the appliance. This ensures air circulation all around the products.

Understanding climate classes

Generally located inside the refrigerator/freezer, there are 8 climate classes identified by letters.

• • N : temperate climate class, corresponding to an ambient temperature between 16 °C and 32 °C.
  • SN : extended temperate climate class, for an ambient temperature between 10 °C and 32 °C.
  • ST: semi-tropical climate class, for a temperature between 18 °C and 38 °C.
  • T : tropical climate class, for a temperature between 18 °C and 43 °C.
  • SN-T: extended tropical climate class, for a temperature between 10 °C and 43 °C.
  • N-T : temperate to tropical climate class, for a temperature between 16 °C and 43 °C.
  • SN-ST : extended subtropical climate class, for a temperature between 10 °C and 38 °C.
